High School Students who RSVP to TechTogether Boston are automatically registered for PreHacks!

As a college student (undergraduate or graduate), you'll join forces with a group of other hackers to create a project that falls under one of the challenge categories. Hackers must identify as female or non-binary but we welcome hackers of all skill levels!

Who can attend TechTogether Boston 2020?

We welcome female and non-binary individuals of all skill levels who have a passion for learning more about technology and are 16 years or older. If you do not identify as female or non-binary, you can be a mentor or volunteer at TTB 2020!

What if I've never coded before?

We welcome beginners and experts alike! There will be plenty of workshops and mentors available to guide you throughout your 36-hour hacking journey, and you can also learn from other students!

How much will it cost to attend TechTogether Boston 2020?

This event, including all meals and snacks, swag, and prizes, is completely free!

When and where is TechTogether Boston 2020?

TechTogether Boston 2020 will be happening from January 31st to February 2nd at Boston University’s Agganis Arena!

Is the venue accessible for those with disabilities?

How do teams at TechTogether Boston 2020 work?

If you do not already have a team for the hackathon, do not worry! We will match you with other students with interests and skill levels similar to yours based on your answers to our application. The maximum team size is 5 members.

How can I mentor or volunteer at TechTogether Boston 2020?

Mentor and volunteer applications will open shortly. Once your application is submitted, our organizers will reach out to you about detailed logistics. Everyone, regardless of gender, race, or professional experience, is welcome to apply as a volunteer or mentor.

Can I sleep at TechTogether Boston 2020? Where will I sleep?

Yes, of course! We will provide air mattresses for all our attendees to sleep on, although, we recommend for you to bring a blanket and pillow for added comfort. More details will be included in an email before our event.
